Dayton Ballet Barre
Dayton Ballet Barre is an invaluable organization whose mission is to support Dayton Ballet through fundraising, community outreach, audience development, volunteering, and creating a sense of community for the dancers of Dayton Ballet. Membership is open to anyone interested in raising awareness and attendance for the dance company as the Barre develops exciting new events and projects. Look for great events like the Nutcracker Tea in December and other special events surrounding each of the ballet productions this season. Opera Guild of Dayton
The Opera Guild of Dayton encourages, promotes and supports opera in the Greater Dayton area through fundraising, marketing and educational activities. Perhaps you’ve attended the annual BRAVO! Fashion Show, the Opera Ball or Garden Party. If not, here’s your “opera-tunity” to make new friends. The Children’s Traveling Opera brings their nationally renowned program to grades 3 to 6, and the Annual High School Vocal Competition and Tri-State College Vocal Competition award outstanding student vocalists. Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association
The mission of the Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association (DPVA) is to support the Dayton Philharmonic in education, promotion, fundraising and membership development. You’ll find DPVA volunteers throughout the community in schools as docents, educating schoolchildren prior to attending Young People’s Concerts, ushering youth concerts, providing hospitality to musicians and collecting used instruments to be refurbished for Dayton Public Schools. Plus there’s the much-anticipated Designers’ Show House and Gardens and several important student scholarship programs. Learn more about the DPVA here.
